Crime Report: Alcohol-Related Arrests & a Fireworks Violation

This week’s City of Falls Church crime report includes several alcohol-related incidents including three public drunkeness arrests along with a related assault and narcotics violation plus a DUI on Gordon Road.

Also in the report, a vehicle’s door handle was removed at Coleman Power Sports and someone set off fireworks on N. Washington Street.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: February 15 – 21, 2016

Vandalism to Vehicle, 435 S. Washington St. (Coleman Power Sports) On Feb. 16, a door handle was removed from the victim’s vehicle.

Public Drunkenness, 300 Park Ave. (Falls Church City Hall) On Feb. 17, a male, 33, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block Gordon Rd. On Feb. 17, a male, 33, of Manassas, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Feb. 17, a male, 21, of Washington, DC, was arrested and released on summons from Possession of Marijuana.

Trespass and Public Drunkenness, 116-B W. Broad St. (Unity Club) On Feb. 18, a male, 33, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Trespassing.

Larceny from Building, 1000 E. Broad St. (24 Hour Fitness) On Feb. 19, two wallets were reported stolen from lockers.

Assault, Narcotics Violation, and Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Feb. 20, a male, 18, of Manassas, was arrested for Assault, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Public Drunkenness.

Fireworks Violation, 400 block N. Washington St. On Feb. 20, police received a report of fireworks being set off in the area.
