F.C. Resident Wins Alumni Award from Stony Brook U.

Falls Church resident Raymond K. Wong was recently selected as a 40 Under Forty Alumni Award winner at Stony Brook University, where he graduated from in 2007 with an electrical engineering degree.

“My vision of a great university includes an alumni network so strong that students want to come to Stony Brook because they know their alumni organization will be standing by to support them and their university,” said Samuel L. Stanley, Jr., president of Stony Brook University, at an alumni event honoring the award recipients. It was the university’s second annual 40 Under Forty event.

Wong is a foreign service diplomat for the U.S. Department of State as well as a former senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a marine officer and radio operator.

Other award recipients include Major League Baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins Tom Koehler, Los Angeles Rams National Football League reporter Dani Klupenger and neuroscientist Heather Berlin. For more information, visit stonybrook.edu/40underforty.
