Crime Report: Prostitution Arrest at Stratford Motor Lodge

While the incident is reported in the crime report this week, police say there’s no new information on the triple shooting at The State Theatre last week. In other crime, a 57-year old woman was arrested for prostitution at the Stratford Motor Lodge last Thursday. The woman was also charged with “keeping a bawdy house” or a place used for prostitution.

Also, a van was reported stolen from Victory Comics on Washington St. last Wednesday.


City of Falls Church Crime Report: January 18 – 24, 2016

Aggravated Assault, 220 N. Washington St. (State Theatre) On Jan. 18, three victims were shot and treated at local hospitals.

Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. On Jan. 18, a male, 27, of Vienna, was arrested for Public Drunkenness. He was also served a warrant for Failure to Appear in Fairfax County General District Court for Failure to Pay Child Support.

Stolen Vehicle, 586 Washington St. (Victory Comics) On Jan. 20, police received a report of a stolen van.

Prostitution, 300 W. Broad St. (Stratford Motor Lodge) On Jan. 21, a female, 57, no fixed address, was arrested for Prostitution and Keeping a Bawdy House.

Driving Under the Influence & Narcotics Violation, 100 block Little Falls St. On Jan. 23, a male, 23, of McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana.
