The City of Falls Church announced in a press release this morning that there will be parking restrictions in addition to the ones resulting from the City’s snow emergency routes. Poplar Drive and Gibson Street will have parking restrictions starting at noon on Friday, Jan. 22 – 11 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25.

Snow plows have difficulty clearing the roads when cars are parked on both sides of the streets, so residents and their visitors are asked to heed the following restrictions: No parking on the odd side of Poplar Drive from 201 to 301; No parking on the even side of Poplar Drive from 100 to the end of the street; No parking on the odd side of Gibson Street from Poplar Drive to Rosemary Lane.
