Creative Cauldron Arts Adventure Camps Now Enrolling

Enrollment has opened for Creative Cauldron’s Arts Adventure Camps, according to an email from the local arts organization. The camps, which run in sessions from late March – early September, use a theme-based approach to allow children to explore the performing and visual arts.

During the Arts Adventure Camps’ three-week summer sessions, Tales from the Enchanted Forest and Planetary Dreams, instructors use nature, myths and folklore to create an learning community for participants. Creative Cauldron’s first camp will be held during Falls Church City Public Schools’ spring break, March 21 – 25, and involves spying.

Agents of Imagination: The Art and Craft of Spying will allow participants to explore the world of spying using a toolkit from the performing and visual arts. Children will have the opportunity to test out their acting skills, learn to create new identities, play out covers using disguise techniques and make up and learn to communicate through works of art containing secret codes.

The camps are for children ages 4 – 14 and last from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., though there is before and after care for a fee. The price of the camps vary. For more information, visit creativecauldron.org.
