Crime Report: Vehicle’s Tires Slashed Twice in One Week at Bowl America

Someone has it out for a vehicle regularly parked in the Bowl America parking lot. For the second time in one week, the vehicle’s tires were slashed while parked at the bowling alley, the first time was last Monday and the latest incident occurring on Friday.

In other crime, someone skipped out on their tab at Dogwood Tavern, a man was arrested for shoplifting from Giant and a moped was stolen from Ellison Street.

 

City of Falls Church Crime Report: December 7 – 13, 2015

Fraud, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On Dec.7, an unknown suspect left the restaurant failing to pay a bill.

Larceny from Building, 180 S. Washington St. (PHCC National Associates) On Dec. 8, unknown suspect(s) removed copper gutter tubing from building.

Shoplifting, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Dec. 9, a male, 24, of Washington, DC, was arrested and released on summons for Petit Larceny.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 900 blk Ellison St. On Dec. 9 or Dec. 10, a red and black moped was stolen.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 140 S. Maple Ave. (Bowl America) On Dec. 11, unknown suspect(s) slashed two tires on a vehicle. Same vehicle was involved in a tire slashing event at the same location on Dec. 3.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd., #17 On Dec. 13, a male, 41, of Alexandria, VA, was issued a summons for smoking in a non-smoking area.
