The bands of George Mason High School will present “Music of American Composer” for their winter concert on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium at 7124 Leesburg Pike.
The program features the percussion and jazz ensembles as well as the symphonic band and wind ensemble performing the music of Copland, Bernstein and Mackey. The bands will also play original compositions from IB Music student composers.
