Takumi Opens Thursday in Falls Church’s ‘Tulip Building’

The Little City’s sushi scene gets another addition as Takumi, the new restaurant from Kaz Sushi Bistro veteran Jay Yu, is set to open its doors in Falls Church’s “Tulip Building” tomorrow. The 30-seat restaurant will open for lunch Thursday starting at 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5 – 10 p.m. Yu tells the News-Press that most menu items – which will focus on nigiri and sashimi – will be served during the soft opening but the full menu won’t be in effect until Monday. The restaurant will be closed on Sundays.

Takumi, located at 310 S. Washington St. next to Smashburger, is the third sushi restaurant in the 2.2-mile City of F.C., joining Koi Koi and Maneki Nekko.
