Falls Church Tree Fest, a holiday event featuring decorated trees displayed at the Falls Church Community Center, will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. The purpose of the Falls Church Tree Fest is to aid multiple non-profits who provide benefits and services to various populations in the Falls Church community.

To participate in the event, non-profit groups or businesses that wish to support a non-profit can decorate trees for display at the Falls Church Community Center at 223 Little Falls Street. This year’s tree fest will be held in conjunction with the annual Holiday Craft Show.

Each of the participating groups will decorate a tree and the trees will be displayed together for public viewing. A group of carolers from the Victorian Society of Falls Church will greet visitors in traditional holiday attire and live music and holiday treats will be provided as visitors come to see the trees.

During the event, there will be information available about all participating organizations for visitors to learn more about the services that each organization provides. Also, there will be a silent auction where bids can be placed on each tree. At the conclusion of the event, the highest bidder for each tree will donate that amount of money to the organization represented and receive the decorated tree.

Admission to the Falls Church Tree Fest is $1, and all proceeds will go to benefit the participating organizations. For more information or to participate in the tree fest, email Melissa Morse at or visit
