F.C. Blanket & Coat Donation Drive Underway

Now through Friday, Dec. 4, the City of Falls Church is collecting new and gently used blankets and children’s coats at the Falls Church Community Center as part of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission’s donation drive. Children’s coats and blankets collected as part of the drive will be donated to refugee families of Syria and Iraq that were impacted by the violence of civil war and ISIL.

Last year, 25,000 blankets were collected and shipped to assist these and other families. The Falls Church Community Center is located at 223 Little Falls Street. For more information, visit helpsyrianrefugees.us, call 703-282-6563 or email Barb Cram at greenscap@aol.com.
