The gluten-free bakery The Happy Tart will open its second location tomorrow in the City of Falls Church. Owner and baker Emma Cech told the News-Press the bakery will open for limited hours at 410 S. Maple Avenue this Thursday and Friday and then next Tuesday through Friday before its official grand opening, complete with free tastings, on Saturday, October 24.
The coffee shop and bakery is the first of its kind in The Little City and will serve gluten-free pastries, macarons, cookies, breads, cakes as well as coffee, lattes and cappuccinos.
Limited hours at The Happy Tart will be from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday – Friday, Oct. 15 – 16 and Tuesday – Friday, Oct. 20-23.
