Master Gardeners Host Autumnfest in Arlington

The Virginia Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners of Arlington/Alexandria are hosting the Glencarlyn Library Garden AutumnFest on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Glencarlyn Libary is located at 300 S. Kensington St., Arlington. The event is free and will take place rain or shine.

Featured events will include free tastes of treats and drinks made from herbs grown in the garden, a naturalist with critters, a balloon artist, and Master Gardener-led mini-workshops on native plants, plants that attract pollinators, and landscaping with edible plants.

A wide variety of Virginia-grown plants will also be available for sale. For more information, call Judy Funderburk at 703-671-5310.
