Bailey’s Rotary Club Gives Awards to Mason District Officers

Members of the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club presented awards to officers of the Mason District police station on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Mason Citizens Advisory Committee meeting. The awards were given in appreciation for helping with the August 19 J.E.B. Stuart High School Resource Fair.

Bailey’s President Pat Borowski presented a certificate of appreciation from the club to the officers and staff of the Mason District police station and the award was accepted by Captain Andy Hill. Awards also were presented by Rotary members Glad Hatchl, Kate Walter and David Feld on behalf of the Stuart Resource Fair to other individuals who helped with the event, including Chief Hill, Crime Prevention Officer Kat O’Leary and Lieutenant Tony Matos.

Awards were also given to the Mason Police Explorers Club, the Citizens Advisory Committee and the station. And Citizens Advisory Committee chairman Gabe Goldberg thanked the Bailey’s Rotary Club for all they do for the police.
