F.C. Students Earn Academic Honors Across the Nation

Several students from Falls Church earned academic honors from colleges, universities and other academic institutions across the nation during the spring 2015 semester.

Daniel Anderson was named to the dean’s list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where students must earn at least a 3.0 grade point average with no grades lower than a C to make the list. Matthew Beer was named to the dean’s list at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where students must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average, with no incomplete coursework or grades lower than a C while completing at least 12 credit hours to make the list.

Heba Edress was named to the dean’s list at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, where students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a full-time course load to be named to the list. Takumi Nemec was named to the dean’s list at The Citadel, where students must earn at least a 3.2 grade point average with no grade below a C while completing 12 or more credit hours to make the list.

Myron Brewington earned a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Arjun Chavern earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Elizabeth Anne Crowther graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in global environmental studies from Clark University. Jordon Darrius Washington earned at Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from Washington State University.
