FOUR MEMBERS of the City of Falls Church Police Department played major roles in the recently-completed World Police and Fire Games in Fairfax County, and were honored at the F.C. City Council meeting Monday night. Chief Mary Gavin and officers Jenifer “Missy” Elliot, Thomas Polera and James Brooks were hailed for their efforts, with Chief Gavin winning a gold medal for her bracket in the triathlon.
