South Block Co. Juicery Opens Cafe on N. Westmoreland

(Photo: South Block/Facebook)The area has yet another new eatery as South Block Company has added a small cafe to its East Falls Church micro juicery and is now open for businesses in the former Urban Pantry space on North Westmoreland Street in Arlington.
The new store is the juice company’s third area location with additional stores at George Washington University and Clarendon.
South Block Falls Church celebrated its grand opening last Saturday with a block party that drew lines down the street. The new cafe introduces a menu that includes juice, smoothies, coffee, acai bowls, raw and superfoods.
South Block Falls Church is open weekdays from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Window 54 Bar & Grill Comes To Shops at West Falls Church
Window 54 Bar and Grill has joined the lineup in The Shops at West Falls Church shopping center on Lee Highway in Falls Church.
Located in the former Cafe Italia space at the corner of the strip mall, the new restaurant includes a bar and lounge, Monday – Friday happy hours and an Asian fusion menu with seafood and a full sushi menu.
Window 54 hours are 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

‘Yappy Hour’ Welcomes Dogs & Owners to Mad Fox Patio
Rejoice, pooch lovers – there’s a new destination in The Little City where not only can your four-legged companions get friendly with other canines, but all the while you can be sipping on beer and noshing on tasty grub.
Mad Fox Brewing Company has introduced a new, weekly “Yappy Hour,” a dog-friendly event offering up specials for both man and beast. Dogs get a complimentary “bark bar” and water while the two-legged attendees get access to special happy hour prices.
Yappy Hour is held each Wednesday from 3 – 7 p.m. on the Mad Fox patio. There’s a two dog per person limit and each pet must be kept on a six-foot leash at all times.
