Another vehicle was stolen in the City of Falls Church, this one from the 300 block of South Maple Ave. last Wednesday, according to the most recent crime report. Two weeks ago, two vehicles were taken in the City, one from N. Quesada and another on Roosevelt Blvd.
In other crime, a 21-year old man was arrested for possession of marijuana, copper downspouts were taken from a S. Washington St. building, TVs and DVDs were stolen from residences on Roosevelt Blvd, a customer’s wallet was stolen at BJ’s and three people were nabbed for DUIs on W. Broad St.

Larceny from Building, 100 block S. Washington St. On July 13, copper downspouts were reported stolen.
Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gio) On July 13, a male, 52, of Annandale, was cited for Permitting Smoking In a Non Designated Area.
Public Drunkenness, 100 block Great Falls St. On July 13, a male, 19, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Narcotics Violation, 300 block S. West St. On July 14, a male, of Falls Church, 21, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.
Stolen Auto, 300 block S. Maple Ave. On July 15, a motor vehicle was reported sometime overnight.
Larceny from Building, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On July 16, several TVs and DVD players were reported stolen from vacant residences sometime between June 26 and July 12.
Trespass, 1218 W. Broad St. (Starbucks) On July 17, a male, 57, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespassing. He was later arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Larceny from Building, 6607 Wilson Blvd. (BJ’s Wholesale) On July 17, a customer’s unattended wallet was reported stolen.
Driving Under the Influence, 900 block W. Broad St. On July 18, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 40, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
Driving Under the Influence, 400 block W. Broad St. On July 18, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 34, of Laurel, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Driving Under the Influence, 400 block W. Broad St. On July 19, a driver struck a pole. After an investigation, a male, 23, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Destruction of Property.
