BalletNova announced their summer dance camps and workshops for kids ages 4 – 18 earlier this month, the first of which, a young children’s half-day camp themed after Midsummer Night’s Dream, wrapped on last Friday, July 10. The dance studio is currently accepting registrations online at BalletNova.org or in the studio, located at 3443 Carlin Springs Road, Falls Church.
The next session of the half-day camp, Around the World, is scheduled for August 10 – 14. At the camp, children ages 4 1/2 – 6 will explore the world of dance and movement by learning dances, stories and doing crafts to improve gross motor skills and stimulate imagination and creativity. The cost of the camp, which last from 9 a.m. – noon everyday, is $230.
