“I’m a local artist and my painting is called ‘The Last One Standing.’ The little white house belonged to Harry English, a long-term Falls Church City resident who took great pride in our city. The little house is surrounded by very large new homes now. The painting depicts the great loss to Falls Church City of both original homes and long-term residents.”
