The Daughters of Penelope Host Wine Tasting

The local chapter of the Daughters of Penelope, one of the largest international women’s organization, is sponsoring a wine tasting this Friday, Feb. 6, from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Meletis Charuhas Community Center in the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church at 3149 Glen Carlyn Road, Falls Church. Proceeds from the wine tasting, which will feature wine from local wine shops, will go to benefit Fisher House and U.S. military veterans.

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $30 at the door and include a plate of Greek appetizers. Besides wine samples, wine can be purchased by the wine or by the bottle. Live Greek music will be featured at the event.
