CROP Walk 5K Raises Over $11,000 for Hunger Relief

The Falls Church Community Services Council, a local community ministry comprised of area congregations whose mission is to assist local families facing emergencies needs, raised over $11,000 through their second annual CROP Walk 5K.

About 180 people participated in the 5K walk, which was held on Sunday, Oct. 26 and the proceeds were raised to support hunger relief programs.

Part of the proceeds will go directly to the Falls Church Community Services Council Food Ministry, which delivers emergency groceries to Falls Church area residents. Donations can still be made online using the link on the council’s website, fcswecare.org.
