The Raptor Conservancy of Va. Holds T-Shirt Fundraiser

The Raptor Conservancy of Virginia, an all-volunteer non-profit based in Falls Church that specializes in the rehabilitation of wild injured, ill or orphaned raptors – hawks, eagles, owls, falcons and ospreys – is hosting its inaugural t-shirt fundraiser.

The t-shirts, which are on sale for $25 at booster.com/RCV, feature the Great Horned Owl and are available until Nov. 30.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly toward buying food for the raptors in the care of the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia.

The Raptor Conservancy of Virginia admits 225 wild birds for treatment every year, as well as continuing treatment of any raptors remaining from the previous year. On average, the organization feeds 5000 mice a month to the raptors in its care.
