North Oak Street, leading up to Mt. Daniel Elementary, will be closed today from 1-1:30 p.m. due to “Meet the Teacher Day” at the Falls Church school. Traffic barriers and school staff will be at the intersection of N. West and N. Oak and Walnut and N. Oak. The closure will not affect traffic on N. West. Only homeowners, school buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed access.
All parents will be shuttled in from St. James or will walk to the event.
