Crime Report: Man Arrested for Child Neglect, Destruction of Property at Lesly’s Restaurant

A 40-year old Rockville man was arrested for child neglect, destruction of property and public drunkenness at Lesly’s Restaurant in Falls Church last Friday, according to the latest City of Falls Church Crime Report released today. Other alcohol-related incidents in the report include two more arrests for public drunkenness (one at the Unity Club and the other at CVS) and a DUI on Gundry Drive.

Reports of stolen items in the Aug. 18-24 report include contents taken from a locker at Core Power Yoga,  a license plate stolen from a vehicle at F.C. City Hall, personal items taken from Pete’s Towing, two radios stolen from vehicles in the 800 block of W. Broad St. and liquor stolen from an ABC store.

Smoking Violation, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage) On Aug. 18, a male, 43, of Winchester, VA, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #18 (Cam Tam Saigon) On Aug. 18, a male, 64, of Falls Church, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Public Drunkenness, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Aug. 19, a male, 52, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 444 W. Broad St. (Core Power Yoga) On Aug. 20, contents from a locker were stolen.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 Park Ave. (Falls Church City Hall) On Aug. 20, police received a report that a license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Trespass, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage) On Aug. 20, a male, 57, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Trespassing.

Public Drunkenness, 116-B W. Broad St. (Unity Club) On Aug. 21, a male, 31, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Panhandling, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Aug. 21, a male, 55, of Alexandria, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Larceny from Building, 1121-B W. Broad St. (Pete’s Towing) On Aug. 22, personal contents were stolen from the property.

Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (Virginia ABC) On Aug. 22, police received a report that an unknown suspect stole liquor from the store.

Graffiti, 100 block E. Annandale Rd. On Aug. 22, graffiti were found on a dumpster.

Child Neglect, Destruction of Property, and Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Aug. 22, a male, 40, of Rockville, MD, was arrested for Child Neglect, Destruction of Property, and Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 800 block W. Broad St. On Aug. 24, police received a two reports of radios stolen from two vehicles.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block Gundry Dr. On Aug. 24, police responded to the area for a report of a motor vehicle collision with parked vehicles. The driver, a male, 22, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
