Jody’s Jam of the Week: Mad Fox Brewing Company’s 4th Birthday Party

This weekend is another “fourth” celebration but rather than our nation’s independence, it’s a birthday party for Falls Church’s four-year-old Mad Fox Brewing Company.

Starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, The Little City brew pub will open its doors and give away a special limited-edition nonic pint glass to the first 400 guests. Continuing throughout the day, three new beers will be tapped for revelers starting with the popular Orange Whip IPA at noon, Praha Pils at 2 p.m. and Mad Fox’s special Batch 100, a cross between a black IPA and Russian Imperial stout at 4 p.m. The Justin Trawick Band will be providing the sweet sounds of bluegrass, pop, funk and folk for the day and a birthday cake-cutting will go down at 5 p.m.
