Crime Report: 2 Cars Broken Into at F.C. Farmer’s Market Saturday

Cash was stolen from one vehicle and another was vehicle was broken into at the Falls Church Farmer’s Market last Saturday. Police say the suspect is a white female, age 20-25 and 5’7″ to 5′ 9″ inches tall with medium build, shoulder length brown hair, wearing a white short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, calf high brown boots and carrying a dark-colored jacket and brown-colored waist length purse.

In other F.C. Crime Report news from the past week, a 25-year old Burke man carjacked a vehicle from an acquaintance at George Mason Square on Thursday, two drunk men were arrested for not paying their bill at Lesly’s Restaurant Saturday, an iPhone was stolen from Pie-tanza, tools were stolen from a house on Parker Ave., a bike was taken from Park Ave., and there were an assortment of alcohol, drug and smoking arrests.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, 1000 block W. Broad St. On May 26, a male, 19, of Gaithersburg, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Larceny from Building, 1216 W. Broad St. (Pietanza) On May 26, police received a report an iPhone was stolen from a customer.

Disorderly Conduct, 300 block W. Broad St. On May 26, a female, 58, of Falls Church, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Larceny from Building, 300 block Parker Ave. On May 28, police received a report that various tools were stolen from a residence.

Smoking Violation, 6787 Wilson Blvd. Suite A (Saigon Xua Restaurant) On May 29, a male, 61, of Springfield, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Smoking Violation, 6797 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gio) On May 29, a male, 50, of Virginia Beach, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Larceny from Building, 400 block Park Ave. On May 28, police received a report that an unsecured bicycle was stolen from a residence.

Carjacking, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Throwing Objects at an Occupied Vehicle, Assault & Battery, and Destruction of Property, 105 W. Broad St. (George Mason Square). On May 29, police investigated an incident in the parking lot garage. The suspect, who knew the victim, forcefully removed the victim from the vehicle and fled the area. Falls Church Police located the suspect on May 30. A male, 25, of Burke, was arrested for Carjacking, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Throwing Objects at an Occupied Vehicle, Assault & Battery, and Destruction of Property.

Narcotics Violation, 100 block Birch St. On May 31, a male, 18, of Falls Church, was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 100 block E. Broad St. On May 31, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 40, of Springfield, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Defrauding an Innkeeper and Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On May 31, two intoxicated individual refused to pay for a customer bill. A male, 39, of Falls Church; and a male, 38, of Falls Church, were arrested for Defrauding an Innkeeper and Public Drunkenness.

Tampering with Motor Vehicle and Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 Park Ave. (Falls Church Farmers’ Market) On May 31, an unknown suspect entered one victim’s vehicle with no items taken. The same suspect entered another vehicle and stole cash. The suspect was described as a white female, 20-25 years of age, 5`7″- 5`9″ tall, medium build, shoulder length brown hair, wearing a white short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, calf high brown boots, carrying a dark colored jacket, and a brown colored waist length purse.

Narcotics Violation, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of False ID, 7100 block Leesburg Pike On June 1, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of False ID.

Public Drunkenness, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On June 1, a male, 41, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
