Mason Boosters to Say Thanks with Co-Ed Softball Game

The George Mason High School Athletic Boosters have organized a co-ed softball game between current Mason baseball and softball players this Saturday as part of an event to recognize and say thank you to donors who have assisted the group in its effort to light the Mason baseball and softball fields.

The event is planned for Saturday, May 31, starting at 5 p.m. at the George Mason High School baseball field. Greater Effect, a band of Mason students, is scheduled to play when the doors open. At 6 p.m., senior Connor Rhodes will emcee the event and Tom Horn, Mason athletics director, will make remarks to officially thank the donors. The game is set to begin at 6:15 p.m.

This free event is open to the community, and free hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks will be provided.
