Marshall High Band Wins at F.C. Parade

The Marshall High School “Marching Statesmen” band won in the amateur marching band category at the Falls Church Memorial Day Parade Monday, while the John F. Nicoll Pipes and Drums won the professional marching band category.

The Judge’s Choice award went to the Washington Scottish Pipe Band, the military band winner was the South Lakes High School Army JROTC, the float winner was the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation, the youth group was the Alma Boliviana, the walking group was the Kena Shriners, the emergency/fire vehicle was the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department, and the classic vehicle was the Fairfax chapter of the Harley Owners Club.
