F.C. Council OK’s $ for 3 School Trailers

The Falls Church City Council voted 7-0 Tuesday to approve a School Board request to purchase three replacement portable classrooms (trailers) at $500,000. The funds will cover the cost of the trailers, the demolition of the old trailers and the installation of the new ones with fire alarm, plumbing, sewage, utility connections, awnings, vinyl floorings, overhangs and intercom.

Immediate action was required in order to have the trailers available by the start of the new school year in September.
