2 Marshall Seniors Win ACE Scholarships

413aceTwo seniors from George C. Marshall High School were awarded ACE Mentor Program scholarships at an awards breakfast at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, D.C. on May 9.

Tom Beddow received the Urban Affairs and Planning Scholarship sponsored by Saul Ewing LLP,  a legal firm with a construction law practice. Anthony Wagner received the Electrical Engineering Scholarship sponsored by Turner Construction, an international construction management firm. This fall, both students will attend Virginia Tech. Beddow will attend the School of Architecture and Urban Planning and Wagner will attend the School of Engineering.

The ACE Mentor Program is a partnership of architects, construction managers, engineers, designers, professional societies and organizations, and high schools and universities which encourages high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering, and construction through mentoring.
