The George Mason High School Student Council Association recently selected junior Zach Witzel as student liaison to the Falls Church School Board for the 2014-15 school year.
Witzel will fill the non-voting, advisory role on the board, now held by Maeve Curtin, for a one-year term beginning July. Curtin is the first-ever student liaison appointed to the board.
The board will vote on Witzel ‘s nomination next month.
