F.C. Arts ‘Enviro Art’ Showcases New Talent

408fcartFalls Church Arts debuted its Enviro Art show last week, featuring pieces made with items from nature or rescued from the waste stream. The show was curated by Environmental Artist Teddy Wiant, and featured three new FCA members exhibiting for the first time. Wiant (center) is pictured above with his singing “Wood Bard” piece, flanked by George Mason High School art teacher Marc Robarge and new FCA member Claire Courpron, both of whom are featured in the show. The artists are pictured in front of a sign for the show made entirely of painted cigarette butts.  New FCA members Lynda Smith-Bugge and Lilli Sanchez Ruiz are also featured in the show. The show will be on display at ArtSpace Falls Church through May 11. (Photo: Courtesy Shaun van Steyn)
