Crime Report: 2 Men Busted for Stealing from Dumpsters in Falls Church

In this week’s Falls Church Crime Report, two men were arrested for stealing from dumpsters on Maple Avenue last weekend, there was a domestic assault on Meridian Street, four DUIs including one involving a police chase and three more people were busted for smoking at Eden Center. All of the above plus more criminal infractions below.

Vandalism to Vehicle 500 block W. Westmoreland Rd. On Mar. 10, a windshield to the victim’s vehicle was found damaged.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6765 Wilson Blvd. On Mar. 11, a male, 31, of Annandale, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non Designated Area.

Larceny, 100 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 11, batteries from a public messaging board were reported stolen.

Larceny from Building and Trespassing, 400 block N. Maple Ave. On Mar. 15, police received a report of theft from dumpsters. After investigation, a male, 18, of Falls Church, was arrested for Petit Larceny and Trespassing. A male, 38, of Falls Church, was arrested for Habitual Petit Larceny and Trespassing.

Domestic Assault, 500 block Meridian St. On Mar. 15, a male, 22, of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block W. Broad St. On Mar. 15, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 47, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence and Felony Eluding, 1300 block Tracy Pl. On Mar. 15, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The fleeing vehicle failed to stop. Officer obtained custody of the suspect after bailing from the vehicle. The driver, a male, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Felony Eluding.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #15 (H2O Café) On Mar. 15, a male, 46, of Laurel, MD; and a male, 47, of Silver Spring, MD, were arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Panhandling, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Mar. 15, a male, 41, no fixed address, was arrested and released on summons for Panhandling.

Public Drunkenness, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Mar. 15, a male, 23, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 6619 Wilson Blvd. (New Moon) On Mar. 16, a male, 42, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block N. Oak St. On Mar. 16, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 24, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block S. Washington St. On Mar. 16, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Smoking In a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage) On Mar. 16, a male, 42, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested and released on summons for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.
