Tinner Hill’s African American Heritage Bus Tour Returns Sunday

The African American Heritage Tour of Falls Church by the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation will return this weekend.

A bus will depart from ArtSpace Falls Church at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, for the tour.

Historic figures from Falls Church’s past, from before the Civil War to the birth of the early Civil Rights struggle, will be played by costumed interpreters during a bus tour of significant local sites. This tour will highlight women, both black and white, who have had a role in shaping the history of Falls Church.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors and children older than 4 years.
