Urban Pantry Opening March 3 in Little Gourmet Space

Urban Pantry will officially open March 3 in the former location of Little City Gourmet at 2121 N. Westmoreland Street, at the base of the Crescent Building in East Falls Church. Based on customer feedback, the new restaurant will have a larger focus on retail offerings such freshly prepared food, coffee, gelato and a curated selection of wine, cheese and other unique pantry items.

Max Emma, who has an extensive catering background and served as Little City Gourmet’s catering sales manager, is the new owner. Rachelle Slotnick, owner and executive chef of Little City Gourmet, will serve as the chief operating officer. Limited seating will still be available for dine-in, wine tastings will be provided on Saturdays, and brunch will be available on weekends.

Urban Pantry will be open Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 571-335-4983 or visit the Urban Pantry’s Facebook page.
