Those looking for a new home for their gently used books can donate them to the Falls Church American Association of University Women book sale to raise scholarship funds.
The local AAUW is collecting books of all kinds, which will be available for purchase at their annual sale on April 11 – 12 at the Falls Church Community Center, 223 Little Falls St.
Donors can deposit good, clean, saleable books in the book collection bin at the Falls Church Community Center between March 1 and April 5. Those with large donations can can call 703-941-5643 or email gjewell@cox.net.
Donations are tax deductible, with value assigned by the donor. Sale profits fund scholarships for local girls and AAUW’s national scholarship program for women and girls.
