City of Falls Church Public Schools will be closed for students and staff again on Friday, Feb. 14, due to the more than 12 inches of snow dropped on the area Wednesday and Thursday.

The schools were closed Thursday as well. Day care has also been cancelled for Friday

A note on the school’s web page said Monday’s Presidents Day Holiday, Feb. 17, for Falls Church City Public Schools will be unaffected by any change in schedule on Thursday or Friday due to the anticipated winter storm.

The City of F.C. is currently under a snow emergency, in effect since 8 p.m. Wednesday night. Due to the declaration, parking along designated emergency routes will be limited until the emergency is lifted. A map of the City’s emergency routes can be found here.
