Jody’s Jam of the Week: Christmas in Black & White

Music and film combine Thursday for Christmas in Black & White at Angelika Film Center in the Mosaic District. The Fairfax Symphony Orchestra along with singers from the National Broadway Chorus will provide the soundtrack during a screening of four silent holiday movies. The program, devised and led by Pops conductor Luke Frazier, will include the classic films “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “A Winter Straw Ride,” “A Christmas Carol,” and “The Adventures of the Wrong Santa Claus.”

There will be two performances Thursday night at 6 and 8 p.m. Adult tickets are $15 and kids under 12 are free.
