Senior Lilly Constance was selected last week as the 2013 George Mason High School Poetry Out Loud winner.
Freshman Andrea Dilao was runner-up in the annual recitation contest created by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation. Both girls received prizes from One More Page Books.
Constance will move on to the regional competition in February, with the Virginia state finals set for March 13.
