Jody’s Jam of the Week: D.C. Santa Bar Crawl

xmassantaThe malls are packed, people are slinging trees in grocery store parking lots, lights are blinking away on houses all over town – the Christmas season has officially begun.

With December comes all of the above and more as festive cheeriness infiltrates the air with gusto. But perhaps the truest sign of the season is a mob of booze-soaked Santas, stumbling from bar to bar through the streets of D.C. Yep, the D.C. Santa Bar Crawl is here again, kicking off Saturday at 3 p.m. in DuPont with food and drink specials for all those done up as jolly ol’ St. Nick or in other holiday attire. The annual pub crawl runs through The Black Rooster, Irish Whiskey, The Mighty Pint and the Big Hunt.

What: D.C. Santa Bar Crawl

When: Saturday, December 8, 3 p.m.

Where: Black Rooster Pub, 1919 L St. NW; The Mighty Pint, 1831 M. St. NW; Irish Whiskey, 1207 19th St. NW; Big Hunt, 1345 Connecticut Ave.
