Small Business Saturday Set for November 30

November 30 is Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, one day after Black Friday and two days before Cyber Monday.

According to American Express, 52% of what is spent in independent, locally owned businesses stays in the community, supporting local organizations and services. While only American Express business customers can make use of their materials promoting this day, all small businesses can benefit when customers shop locally on this day and through the holidays.
