Reenactors Imagine Thanksgiving 1863 at Cherry Hill Farmhouse

The City of Falls Church will host A Civil War Thanksgiving at Cherry Hill Farmhouse this Saturday, Nov. 30.

Visitors are welcome to stop by any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to see what an 1863 Thanksgiving was like in Falls Church. They’ll watch costumed reenactors recreate Thanksgiving as they host the holiday meal, listen to their war-time conversation, and take part in their parlor entertainment including music and readings. Children’s activities will also be available.

Admission is free and donations will be accepted.
