Falls Church Planning Commissioner Lindy Hockenberry Monday proposed that a streetscape plan extending on S. Maple from the renovated Young Group property at S. Maple and Annandale Road to the recently-approved Reserve at Tinner Hill project be added to the coming Capital Improvement Project budget to lay the basis for an early realization of the City Planning Department’s S. Washington St. Area Plan that the City Council approved last month.

Planning Director Jim Snyder added that the S. Washington St. “gap” between the planned multi-modal transit plaza at where Hillwood Ave. intersects S. Washington and the Reserve at Tinner Hill also needs immediate attention.
