Coalition Adds Another Forum on Upcoming Water Referendum

A final public forum on the pros and cons of the referendum on the Nov. 5 ballot in the City of Falls Church asking voters if the City should sell its water system to the Fairfax County Water Authority will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple. As with an earlier forum on the same subject, this one will be co-hosted by the Falls Church Citizens for a Better City (CBC), the City’s Republican and Democratic committees, and the American Legion Post 130.

In a flyer issued today, it is stated, “We believe the sale of the Falls Church Water System will have a fundamental effect on our community’s future.”
