Broadmont Water Main Flushing Next Week from Oct. 16 -18

Water mains in the Broadmont area of Falls Church will be flushed next week, the City of F.C. announced in a press release today.

Starting Wednesday, October 16 and continuing until Friday, October 18, F.C. City crews will be operating valves and hydrants on the following streets:

– E. Columbia Street

– N. Tuckahoe Street

– N. 18th Street

– Forest Drive

– Villa Ridge Road

– Buxton Road

– Tysons Drive

– Van Buren Street

– N. Underwood Street

– 11th Street

– N. Tuckahoe Street

– N. Sycamore Street

– Ridge Place

– Roosevelt Street

The City advises that while they system is being flushed in their immediate area, customers may notice low water pressure and discolored water due to sediments being flushed. Discolored water should clear up after running the cold tap for a few minutes.
