F.C. Pet Businesses Hosting Dog-Friendly Fest at Cherry Hill Saturday

Falls Church-based Unleashed Abilities and KSR Pet Care are hosting Mutts n’ Munchkins on Sunday, September 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Cherry Hill Park (rain date is Oct. 6.) The event is a dog-friendly interactive festival that provides local kids with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of homeless and neglected animals.

Activities include an interactive mural to be hung at Mary Riley Styles Library, agility activities and demonstrations, crafts and games, pet first aid and CPR demos, adoptable dogs, live music, a doggie massage booth, and treats for dogs and humans alike. This year’s event will benefit Pets with Disabilities, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to the adoption of physically disabled animals.
