Inaugural Ravenwood Park Dog-Walk Fest Set for Sept. 29

The first-ever Ravenwood Park Dog-Walk Fest will take place this Sunday, Sept. 29, from 2 – 3 p.m. and will raise funds for Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.

The event, conceived of by 7-year-old Hayley Teich and sponsored by the Ravenwood Park Citizens Association, will see dogs wearing donation vests for cash contributions and competing for prizes from PetSmart to be awarded to the best behaved dog, the dog with the best trick, and the cutest dog. The entry fee is $5.

The walk will step off from 6203 Colmac Drive, Falls Church.
