Eden Center Supermarket Groundbreaking Tuesday

An official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Good Fortune Supermarket at Eden Center will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 12:00 p.m., at 6751 Wilson Boulevard, Falls Church. When completed, Good Fortune will be the largest international supermarket in Northern Virginia with 44,000 square feet of fresh produce, fish, meats and other supermarket items.

The Eden Center parking lot will be enlarged as part of the project. In breaking ground on the Good Fortune project, Eden Center opens a new chapter in development of the largest shopping center of its kind in the United States. Eden Center has become a consistent and reliable source of jobs and tax revenue in the City of Falls Church. The new Good Fortune Supermarket is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2014.
