2 Otter Divers Take 1st at Divisionals, Advance to All-Star Meet

Fifteen Oakton Otter divers competed in the Divisional Dive Meet for Division 4 on Sunday, July 28, at the Oakton Swim and Racquet Club. Two Otter divers placed first in their respective categories, qualifying them to compete in the All-Star meet on Sunday, Aug. 4: Mackenzie Brennan in Junior Girls with a score of 113.00 and Elana Colbert in Intermediate Girls with a score of 145.25.

Two Otter divers placed third in their respective categories, qualifying them to be an alternate in the All-Star meet: Brad Burgeson in Intermediate Boys and AJ Colbert in Senior Girls.

The other Otter divers who competed were: Claire Newberry (Freshman Girls, fifth), Lexi Pierce (Freshman Girls, seventh), Haley Liddell (Freshman Girls, thirteenth), Blaise Wuest (Freshman Boys, twelfth), Kyla Straker (Junior Girls, fifth), Saachi Khurana (Junior Girls, seventh), Kenna Campfield (Junior Girls, eighth), Lindsey Liddell (Junior Girls, ninth), Liam Klopfenstein (Intermediate Boys, fourth), James Crowley (Intermediate Boys, eighth), and Everi Osofsky (Senior Girls, seventh).
