Moran to Host Discussion on Health Care Act & Businesses

Congressman Jim Moran is hosting “Navigating the Affordable Care Act: Make Health Reform Work for Your Company” on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 8 – 11 a.m. The event will include a discussion on what small businesses need to know to comply with the Affordable Care Act including the opportunities, benefits, and challenges of the law. Taylor Burke, JD, LLM, Program Director, MPH in Health Policy, School of Public Health & Health Services, The George Washington University will be the keynote speaker.

The event is being held in collaboration with the Alexandria Small Business Development Center, the Community Business Partnership, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, the Mason Small Business Development Center and the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce. It will be held in the Community Room at Landmark Mall, 5801 Duke St., Alexandria.
